Chubb Sécurité Selected by Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière

PARIS, France, March 7, 2007 – Chubb Sécurité announced today its selection by the brand new luxury Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière to provide a fully integrated Internet protocol (IP) based security solution.  Located at the heart of the 8th district in Paris, on the corner of the Champs-Elysées and the Avenue George V, the Hôtel Fouquet occupies a landmark building and attracts an international clientele.  Chubb Sécurité is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. The contract calls for installation of a tailor-made solution throughout the hotel’s 100 guest rooms and recreational areas.  The solution will include a scalable access control system comprising more than 300 Arpège readers and 55 cameras. Operated over an IP network, the access control system is capable of communicating with the hotel’s other systems as well such as lighting, cable and air conditioning. A unique access card will allow simultaneous activation of all systems.
