We believe successful businesses improve the human condition

We support corporate responsibility efforts by investing in the well-being of our communities through charitable giving programs. UTC Fire & Security donated more than $1.5 million to chartiable organizations around the world in 2007. These efforts are focused on two strategic areas:

Safe & Secure Environments

We are dedicated to improving the safety and security of our environments, and we promote safe communities by reducing threats from fire, crime and natural disasters.

Math & Science Education

We support programs that foster the development of future scientists and engineers who will help tackle the problems facing our world.

UTC Fire & Security encourages employees to become involved in their local communities. For U.S. employees, two UTC programs are available to support employee priorities:

Volunteer grants – To recognize employee efforts, UTC provides grants to qualified organizations for which an employee volunteers at least 60 hours per year.
Matching gifts – UTC doubles employee contributions to nonprofit educational, cultural and environmental organizations.
