industry support

Fenwal Protection Systems is committed to helping provide all entities of our industry the understanding and most up-to-date knowledge of waterless fire protection products and technology. In order to do so, we are routinely working with Architect & Engineering groups, local authorities, insurance companies and construction management personnel, at all levels of a given project. Evaluating and specifying a fire protection system can be daunting, but help is always available! Here are just a few of the things FPS can do to help you feel more comfortable in utilizing these systems in your project. Please see our contacts section to schedule time with any of our sales managers.

A&E groups represent a large portion of the educational work we do at Fenwal Protection Systems. Fire protection can often be a ‘lost trade’ amongst specialists in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. We recognize that your firm is always interested in learning the latest information regarding the mission critical fire protection market. Here are just a few ways we can assist:

  • NEW! AIA CES certification. As of September 1, 2005, Fenwal Protection Systems is a registered provider in the AIA CES program. Our registered program is entitled, “Mission Critical Facilities: Complete Fire Protection”, and offers 1 LU credit, and qualifies for HSW (health, safety & welfare) credit.
  • Lunch and learn. The most common method of information exchange. At FPS we are always ready, willing and able to provide your firm a general overview of the industry and products available, or a more detailed discussion focused on just a few specific products of immediate interest. Our L&L sessions are always well received at A&E firms around the country!
  • Project support. During the span of a complicated fire protection project, there are bound to be questions and issues that arise for even the most seasoned of professionals. Our sales management team is well prepared to ‘get dirty’ for project meetings, on-site testing, troubleshooting or whatever may be necessary to keep the project on schedule.
  • Specifications. Taking a host of different products and systems and turning it into a simple, effective and workable specification can be challenging. Along with our Guide to Mission Critical Fire Protection CD-ROM tool  CD tool, our sales management team is always prepared to help craft a specification around FPS products.
