UTC Fire & Security Acquires Shanghai KEN E.L.V System Engineering Co., Ltd.


SHANGHAI, China, July 2, 2007 – UTC Fire & Security announced that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Shanghai KEN E.L.V System Engineering Co., Ltd. ( Shanghai KEN).  UTC Fire & Security is a business unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
 
Shanghai KEN installs and maintains   fire protection and electronic security systems throughout China.  Key customers include the Shanghai Mass Rail Transport authority and developers engaged in large infrastructure and commercial building projects.
