UTC Fire & Security Completes Acquisition of Initial Electronic Security in France


FARMINGTON, Conn., December 27, 2007 – UTC Fire & Security,  a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), has completed its purchase of Rentokil Initial’s Electronic Security business unit in France, Initial Sécurité Holdings SAS, also known as Initial Delta.

Headquartered in Lyon, France, Initial Delta provides electronic security and fire safety solutions to a wide range of customers.
